CoP20 Side event: Rethinking Trade Data
On 27 November 2025, AAP Animal Advocacy and Protection co-hosted the side event “Rethinking Trade Data: Exploring Solutions to Strengthen Wildlife Trade Data”.
Global experts joined for an engaging discussion on how we can improve wildlife trade monitoring, bridge data gaps, and strengthen tools such as TRACES and LEMIS. We presented practical solutions to support informed decision-making, effective policy action, stronger enforcement, and better conservation outcomes for all species.
