Disinformation
Unfortunately, a great deal of disinformation is in circulation, particularly regarding animal welfare and legislation. Wherever possible, we engage in constructive discussions with our followers, even when information has not been proven to be true or when it is contradicted by (scientific) evidence. Asking questions and maintaining an open dialogue is important, especially when dealing with conflicting information.
However, AAP does not allow the spread of fake news or conspiracy theories on its platforms. When we believe that followers are intentionally spreading misleading information, we reserve the right to remove their comments. People who repeatedly fail to follow these guidelines may be blocked. We do not enter into correspondence regarding decisions to remove comments or block users.

We take the privacy of our followers seriously. Personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, or other confidential details should not be shared in public comments. Such information should only be shared with us via direct messages. Find out more about how AAP handles privacy-related matters in our Privacy Statement.
AAP reserves the right to amend these guidelines at any time without prior notice. If you have any questions, please contact us via our social media platforms or email us at info@aap.nl.
