Academic internships at AAP
AAP is not a scientific research institute but does conduct observational research to improve the welfare of rescued animals. AAP has a collaboration with institutions such as Utrecht University in the fields of ethology and veterinary medicine.
As part of the research program, internships and/or thesis projects can be arranged. Our specialists from the Behavior and Veterinary Affairs teams provide daily supervision and are regularly in contact with university professors.
For internships in the field of ethology, it is expected that the internship lasts at least six months. Currently, candidates for a university internship can apply to Charlotte Kluiver.
